Dime is looking for a Universal Banker who can provide an outstanding customer experience by meeting all the financial needs of the customer to their satisfaction. The Universal Banker will ensure the accurate completion of customer requests ranging from account openings and service requests to routine bank transactions.    




  • Business and Sales Acumen: Understand business and banking industry environment; model outstanding sales and customer engagement skills; adhere to all compliance requirements; attend events to build network
  • Drives for Results: Meet or exceed goals by taking ownership of the customer experience by delivering the appropriate products and services
  • Customer Focus: Serve as a customer advocate within Dime by embracing a customer-centric philosophy  
  • Collaboration: Build relationships with key stakeholders across Dime to deliver best in class customer experience; encourage others to express their views and creativity; work to build consensus



  • Minimum 2 years’ banking, retail, or other related sales and service experience
  • Cash handling experience
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deepen and retain client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to execute a sales plan and acquire new business
  • Experience in articulating product/service information to clients
  • Team player, results-oriented and self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage with and influence others
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn business processes, systems, industry, competitive landscape
  • Strong computer skills
  •  Bilingual English-Spanish helpful
