  • Summary

    The Assistant Relationship Manager (Bilingual English-Chinese) reports to the VP – Team Leader and is responsible for supporting the VP’s business development, portfolio management and customer service efforts.


    • Attend meetings with Clients and Prospects (approximately 15% of work week devoted to Client Meetings).
    • After Client Meetings, prepare requests for Letters of Intent based on approval of the terms and conditions by the EVP-Chief Lending Officer.
    • Prepare “Call Memos”, detailing what was discussed at meetings with Clients and Prospects.
    • Assist with gathering all information needed to submit a full underwriting request for new clients and for annual reviews of existing loans in the portfolio.
    • Actively participate in the post-approval pre-loan closing process interacting with Loan Administration, Dime's General Counsel and the Client to ensure timely loan closing and compliance with the terms and conditions of the approval.
    • Monitor Sageworks ticklers to ensure timely receipt of updated financial information to conduct annual reviews.
    • Monitor advances under existing lines of credit for adherence with borrowing base formula.
    • Provide customer service to Clients, including interacting with other departments to resolve issues.


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Credit training or significant experience in credit analysis (may be completed while employed at Dime.)
    • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn other bank specific software.
    • Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin
